The activities of the day began at around 7 in the morning, with Daaji taking a walk in the Yatra Garden. After a thorough inspection, he asked the maintenance team to attend to specific areas in the garden.

At 8.45 a.m., he had a meeting with Sudhir Marwaha and later went along with him to check out the location of the newly proposed construction site. From there, he proceeded to his office behind the meditation hall to solemnize the betrothal ceremony of a couple.

Daaji first conducted meditation, which lasted about 30 minutes. At around 10 a.m., he solemnized the engagement of Sumedha Vadlapudi with Santnam Bakshi.

Looking at the number of guests who had gathered for the ceremony, Daaji chuckled and said to Satbir Bakshi, the father of the groom, “So many people have come for the engagement! Why don’t you directly proceed with the wedding?”

A few minutes later, a few seekers from overseas came in and met Daaji.

At around 10.15 a.m., Daaji took leave of the group and went for his rounds of the ashram. Arriving at the Madhuvanam pond, he took time to check the water level and the ongoing work. From there, he went to the nursery to check if the seeds sent by him earlier had been planted. After a keen observation of the place, he suggested a few new ideas to the Heartyculture team of Gowthaman, Yogeshwari and Kumar. He invited them home, saying he would like to show them videos on new composting methods.

Daaji reached home, along with the Heartyculture team, at around 10.45 a.m. The next few minutes were spent watching videos on new ways of composting and soil enrichment. Daaji asked the team to implement these methods, observe the results, and share the feedback.

It had been quite sunny and hot since the morning. Suddenly, at around 12 noon, the sky over Kanha was filled with thundering dark clouds, and in a short while, it started pouring cats and dogs. Daaji silently witnessed the massive rainfall from his swing. At around 1.20 p.m., as the rain subsided, he took a walk to ascertain there wasn’t any blockage in the flow of rainwater on the ground.

At 6.45 in the evening, he performed Yoga with Bhushan.

Later in the night, at 8.30, he met up with Nikunj and Shalini to discuss an upcoming music fest in Kanha, ‘A Silent Retreat – Yoga, Meditation, Music, and Wellness.' They were soon joined by Sanjay Sehgal. Daaji asked for this event to be planned and scheduled between January 25 and February 2, 2023.
